I can hear the Caribbean shores calling my name. It seems so far away, and yet it is always with me in my heart and my mind, and in the face of Naimah. Every time I look at her I am taken back to the magical place that I am connected to within my soul. Her passport is on its way and soon, very soon we will be back in our little tropical paradise. My happy yellow villa (pictured here) is now home to someone else, but that is okay. I hope they too are building memories there that they will look back on with a smile one day.Friday, June 27, 2008
The Journey Continues...
I can hear the Caribbean shores calling my name. It seems so far away, and yet it is always with me in my heart and my mind, and in the face of Naimah. Hello,
I just stumbled across your blog via the vegan food blog network, and I happened to notice that you spent a year living in the Dominican Republic! I visited the country two years ago on a month-long volunteer/adventure travel trip, and I absolutely fell in love with it. Reading some of your blog posts made me want to return - I was glad to hear about someone else's love for this country, too!
